I've came accross this watch, i want to buy it at auction, it is sold AS IS, fonctionnal but second hand missing. I just want to be sure and have your review on those pictures ? I know the bracelet is another later replacement but original rolex and the serial on it seems to be legit (1980's bracelet). Also, will it be very expensive to get it fixed properly ?

Saw this one on Kijiji 2 weeks ago, seller wanted about $3000 Canadian for it , I tossed out a lowball offer because I liked the 3/6/9 dial.

Out of curiosity what auction is it listed in now?

Encan Montreal, some pretty normal auctionners.. I don't know how much it will be ending.. with the fees and taxes, plus the repair to do on it.

The original seller claimed it ran fine, I don't think I would pump any extra money into it if I was buying it. I was looking for a Tudor Ranger because I love the 3/6/9 dials and took a shot on this one based on the low price. If I bought it I would just enjoy it for what it is and not put anymore money into it .

second hand for sure, service for me would depend on if it kept time or not . I'd probably just wear it till I had to service it lol

Pick it up if it’s a good buy and send it to Ashton in Ottawa for a service if you plan on wearing it. It’s got character.
