Again for head count I am in for the AD portion, meet and greet, many great TRF names that I admire the posts from.

Not 100% sure I can stick around for the Morton's portion but am working on getting free for it !

Geert, definitely! Next time I'm over your neck of the woods we will have to have a little GTG.

Hey All,

So we are just a few days away. I told Lee Perla to expect between 12 and 20 people.

I did not make any reservations at Morton's as I have no real idea how many people are coming, or how many will actually come up to Morton's.

I figure we will play that part by ear.

All that said, I have never even been to a GTG, let alone set one up. If anyone has any kind of suggestions or advice, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Thanks,
Seth

Seth,
I have not been to a GTG either (but I did try to set one up earlier last year). Starting at the AD sounds like a great idea and I figure we just 'wing it' from there. I suspect you might get a few that miss the AD and you'll get a few who can't continue on to Morton's. We'll see what happens. I plan on being there.

One thing I would suggest is set a meeting place for people to gather. Perhaps we all go find Lee Perla.. or perhaps we prefer to gather a group of us outside and then head in? Its probably a good idea if people know where to look around for others.

All. I have gotten multiple feedback on the same thing, so I'm addressing here.

While I organized this, I'm not paying the tab. Lol.

I'm happy to buy the first round. Otherwise, everyone is on their own.

OK so the draw for the Bond007 Rolex Submariner is due to take place at the GTG on tomorrow.

The draw will be performed by a moderator in the presence of those attending:

The draw will be done by having internet as follows:
Here is the webpage:
http://www.random.org/integer-sets/
Type in where provided "1" set with "3" random numbers between "1" and "328"
Then press the 'get sets' button and the result of 3 random numbers will be given.
The first number will be the 1st prize winner.
The second number will be the 2nd prize winner.
The third number will be the 3rd prize winner.

Thank you to Ed (RockRolex) for kindly agreeing to undertake the task and ensure that the draw goes according to plan.

Good luck to everyone

This sounds like a great GTG! As of today me and Mrs. incontrol will attend. Looking forward to the festivities. Oh, please wish her a Happy Anniversary! I have no idea why she let me talk her into this.

OK I just found a problem with this random number generator as it says that "The integers were sorted in ascending order."

That means if the first number is the lowest number of the 3 selected, that there is a greater probability that the winner will be a lower number and it will be the lowest of the 3 numbers drawn...

So instead this is the better random number generator tool to give a fairer outcome:

http://www.random.org/integers/

OK, Steve. I've saved this new site as a favorite and I'll use at the GTG.
