Icon10 Feeling a little "Curmudgeon-y"...(a quick reveal!)

Hello all-
I think I've found the PERFECT daily wearer...classic, cool and awesome all at the same time!

So- here's her outer box...notice the "older" Rolex Oyster packaging:
1.jpg

Paperwork: (Interestingly- all the manuals, and Chronometer certificate were in pure French. No English whatsoever.)
2.jpg

The booklets are MINTY!
3.jpg

Let's look at the green leather Rolex box-
4.jpg

Open it up...
5.jpg

Oops! (a quick peek at the bottom!)
6.jpg

Hello, Handsome!
7.jpg

A closer peek: ()
8.jpg

Cool! The crown sits upright!
9.jpg

Aaaah...SEL's AND lug-holes! The BEST of old and new!
10.jpg

...aaaaand- the Money-Shot!
11.jpg

Thanks for checking out my thread.

Thanks! I actually like the fading- It's the original bezel from when it was purchased in 2001-

I agree, I like how mine is starting to fade as well. My GMT Master has about the same fade. Interesting that your GMT Master II is from 2001 and my GMT Master is a U-serial from '97-'98. Similar watches, but really a different way they function.

I really like it!!!!

Here it is. Not as good a quality as the Maratac straps, but decent

Bless you my son, Marc......you've seen the light.....lug holes, pepsi, lightweight, rattly old school oyster bracelet, with the good old lightweight clasp & those little pin thingies to adjust..........I am weeping with joy!

Bah humbug, curmudgeon approved..........welcome to the good side.

p.s. an OD or admiralty gray NATO would look smashing on your pepsi GMT!

Lovely watch. However, what is more apparent to me is how Rolex have reduced the quality of their packaging! My modern sub came in a crappy plastic box.
