Blue is the standard but I honestly prefer the white. A bit more fresh and sporty looking - plus the date window is finished and flows with the dial better.

Go against the groupthink: go white. The forum babbles on incessantly about Patek blue / blue 5711 / blue 5712 / "ooh I would buy at blue 5726 in a heartbeat" blah blah blah. Go white! It looks great, it looks different, it is incredibly legible, it's available...

Blow out but more vocal white posters

I've had both and retain blue. Customer satisfaction on each. I had white and 15202 but then sold 15202 due to redundancy (and I can't stay still) so needed a blue dial back.

White. I like how the date window doesn't interrupt the dial. Plus it makes the 15202st a more logical addition

white one looks younger a bit different than the standard, but can't go wrong with either one.

I think the 5711/1a needs more dial options, come on Basel!

The blue is nicer, and but both would look miles better without the date, I think. Same goes for the Rolex Seadweller.

Surprised honestly to see as much white fan base.

I think the white has more pop and is a little more contemporary. If you're looking for more toned down however go blue, but the watch does seem to get a little more normal a little faster in blue IMHO.

I voted for the white. To protest the number of 5711 threads that are posted.

(Own the blue)

I think it's a popular watch. It's difficult to get one. I see a lot of Aquanaut posts, too. Not so much interest in the Calatravas.

It's easy to obtain a hublot, I don't find that is a compelling argument if it's not what you want.
