Tough choice... I'd go with the Explorer. IMO suits perfectly every occasion, from casual to dressy.

The Explorer 39mm is the more versatile watch to wear compared with the Sub. I have both and that's my opinion from experience.
Regarding a Sub date vs no date. I can recall a an AD saying to me that in his opinion a Rolex is not a Rolex unless it has a cyclops! For sure a cyclops does make the watch obvious that it is a Rolex, to all and sundry! |
