Decision time Trade a TT Black Sub for a GMT batman?

Bought my 116613 TT black faced submariner 7 years ago and I find it just a bit too conspicuous. And so I don't wear it much. Can trade in today for little or no big additional dollars for a new GMT batman.

Would you do it? I know the GMT is not as a watch.

BLNR is pretty conspicuous on the wrist as well. I wouldn't do the trade personally. Try putting it on a rubber (or other) strap for a while- it'll be like a new watch and no one will notice.

No way I'd trade my 116613LN. That's a great watch. Check the for sale section and you'll see what both watches are selling for.

I wouldn't do it but get what you like. As mentioned above the BLNR is conspicuous as well, IMO more so than the TT black sub.

As far as which watch... well, the one you will enjoy and wear is the right one.

As far as the prudence of the trade, I think you could sell yours and buy the GMT with some money leftover.

If that process is more trouble than it’s worth, then you have your answer!
Trade, and enjoy your watch.

Another +1.

Mine's staying forever:

But...I can't say not to the BLNR in the morning either:

Tough choice. I'd opt for keeping the 116613 and eventually grabbing the BLNR...but if you really don't want it anymore that's understandable too.

I would not. But if you just plain like the BLNR more? Then have at it. If it's simply because you think the BLNR will be less conspicuous, I think you'll find it's easlily as flash as the TT black Sub...

They are both nice watches. I would keep the TT Sub and save for the BLNR.
