Best under the radar watch?
What is it in your opinion guys, I think the Tudor BB fulfils the job perfectly. Other than that, the omega speed master moon watch.
I personally think Rolex just with its name prevents it from being under the radar, although the explorer is an excellent choice!

Rolex Explorer 1 is pretty plain Jane. Have wanted a 36mm for a long time.

Not so sure any one watch can be the best under the radar watch. I think a lot of vintage SS Rolex I own and have owned fit the bill pretty well. The 1016 and 1655 are 2 good examples. Most people don't pay much attention to them when on the wrist other than person wearing them.

36mm explorer. The new 214270 is too polished to be under the radar. 16570 or even the 216570 are good options because they do not have much of that mirror polish on them. I also like the pelagos and black bay.

14060(M), EXI or 16570 IMHO most under the radar.
Bought this one today.

For existing models, the Tudor North Flag on a strap. For vintage models, any Tudor Submariner.

I can't imagine a more "under the radar" watch than the Tudor Ranger.

depends on how far 'under the radar' you wish to fly....a Timex or Casio will usually suffice.

Best under the radar watch?
Blue pelagos for me. Nobody knows Tudor lol
If it said Rolex on the dial it would be one of their most popular models with a price tag of 10-12k all day.

OP, AK (not new AK) or Explorer. I think a cyclops disqualifies a watch from being "the most under the radar", even if an Explorer II is quite under the radar.
Edit: Oh, this is about any watch, not limited to Rolex? Well, that's really way too wide open..... In terms of price to "under the radar" ratio, it would have to be any RM model I suppose. |

Datejust stainless would be my first choice for low profile. Probably 99.8% of people don't "do" watches as long as they are not a big gold something.

Another vote for the 16570. My Polar is invisible at the office. I disagree with the 14060. Any Sub is the quintessential Rolex and will be recognized by non-WIS.

I go Explorer I. I find that almost no one knows what I am wearing. A few of my WIS nephews ask, but no one else cares. And I have some nice stuff. I like it.

Define "under the radar". What exactly are you looking for? If you mean, you don't want a watch that people point at and stare, pretty much anything that isn't yellow gold or over 44mm should d the trick.

I wear a hulk, and it is pretty invisible in my office. No one ever notices what I'm wearing. My 16613 is getting an overhaul, but even that one never got noticed when I would wear it.

I'd say a 36mm Explorer 114270.
I love mine and it is a genuinely sexy beast.

Any Explorer I. Also, certain mellow-dialed 36mm Datejusts with oyster and smooth bezel.

Divers are too conspicuous too be under the radar (UTR). My eyes are always drawn to them.
In my calculation, assuming UTR equals how awesome the watch is divided by how much attention it gets, the most UTR watch is the Speedmaster. It's got a lot of wrist presence, but no one really knows what it is. The Speedy has a cool story if someone asks you about it and is legitimately interested in watches. On the "low key" side, if someone is trying to put down the fact that you spent so much on a watch, you can tell them you got an old used one from the 80s really cheap. |

Best under the radar watch would probably be EXP II.
Its all brushed not very flashy. But when you say under the radar you can go as far as under $100
