EX I is so under the radar. It's simplicity is what makes it so beautiful IMO.

I don't wanna be under the radar but if I had to I guess it would be an Explorer 1 or Airking for me. Gets no more basic and boring than those models.

Honestly, most people don't notice unless you are really into watches.

I agree... vintage just doesn't have the "bling" of the current Rolex lineup (which I like). My vintage OP Date ('70's) flies pretty low... smaller size (34 mm) and blue dial seem to make it pretty unobtrusive. I don't think I've ever had a comment or question about it, but it runs like a top and I know what it is. Gets a lot of wrist time for sure...

I tend to agree with the 16570; on a recent trip some one had to read the dial to figure out it was a Rolex.

The OP is also a really good under the radar watch in any of its incarnations...

One of my favourite watches... Although I would not call it under the radar watch here in HK!

About two weeks ago I got a steel DJII with a black face and a smooth bezel and no one even noticed I got a new watch, much less a new Rolex.

That's just the way I wanted it.

My vote goes for something without a contrasting bezel. These fixed bezel pieces don't stand out as much from across a room in comparison to something striking like the Submariner, GMT Master II, Sea-Dweller etc. This becomes more clear when you compare the two side by side and have a glance from a distance.

Just about any 4 digit sport model. One of the things I love about vintage pieces is no one recognizes them except other WIS.
For newer reference the 16570.

Rolex bracelets, jubilee or oyster, in all metals pretty distinctive and adding a cyclops blows the cover. For stealth, AirKing or OP on a strap IMO.

Non-cyclops Rolex

Or Patek or Audemars for something of higher quality
