A properly, desirably stocked Rolex AD window looks almost surreal.

Both variations of the SS Daytona, a Hulk, BLNR, and a SubC? What is this!?

Hi All..

I was lucky enough to pickup the BLNR in the pic after stalking the opening and getting in touch with the manager prior to opening..
Managed to skip a 2.5yr wait for the BLNR in Perth..!

I bet they had a line as a far as the eye could see at opening. If that selection was displayed in the USA, there would be rioting

Since in the UK you could wander the AD trail and not see a single one of those watches for a year this thread is vaguely depressing! I'm also a geek.

Those two statements mean that I was inclined to do a bit of maths.

If you could have somehow bagged all five watches for retail you'd spend AUS$65k. If you then decided to take a trip to the Motherland with all 5 BNIB you could flog them here with very little effort for £53000-ish, which converts back to AUS$85000.

So you could make a 20k buck profit, minus travelling expenses, without breaking a sweatl.

Never seen any of those watches in a window in the UK. As for the daytonas I am shocked that they're in the window. I genuinely thought I'd never ever ever see that!!! Bet that AD had more customers in one hour than they do in one day!!!

They opened at 5pm...
when i got there at 8:30pm, there was still a GMT LN, SubC Date, Hulk and of course my BLNR.

There was no line and no-one in the store other than 10 staff.

Was told by the manager that the stock was for sale to public on that day only and if not sold prior, would then be offered to those on their waiting list.

Here's a pic with my Cartier Drive when I picked up thr BLNR

Congrats on being there at the right place and right time. What I'd give to walk past an AD window in London and see such watches! I think we all would in the UK!

You would never see that display here in Vancouver either! Not even at the local Rolex Boutique. Congratulations on being at the right place at exactly the right time.
