DSSD 126660 in for second servicing within 2 years

1. DSSD 126660 purchased new in 2018.
2. Sent in for servicing 2019 due to losing 60 seconds/day.
3. +1/-1 second/day since servicing.
4. I wear the watch on rotation, 2-3x / week.
5. Last 6 months, I noticed that it would not hold a charge for more than 48 hours.
6. Every once in awhile, the watch loses charge and stops, and I would have to wind and set time....but still kept good time.
7. Over the past 2 weeks, I noticed a lost of 5 minutes per day.
8. Placed watch in different positions and even placed in a watch winder....still losing 5 minutes.
9. When i set to the time exactly to an atomic clock, I noticed an immediate loss of one second within one minute. After one hour, ~30 seconds slower.

Never dropped the watch nor hit it.
Is the watch lubricant that fragile? My wifes DJ would sit in her jewelry case for months and when the time is set, it keeps perfect time.
My cheap seiko movements would be in hibernation for months and its still consistently 15 seconds fast (better than 5 minutes slow).

Is this common in the DSSD?

It's not unheard of. Just search in this forum for the well known 3235 problems relative to wear, lubrication, loss of amplitude and timekeeping getting worse over time.

Unfortunate but fixable. Back to the RSC and get it fixed. The DSSD is a great watch and one of the few you do not see a lot of issues posted about. I hope you get it sorted out.

I sent off the DSSD 126660 the second time.
Awesome RSC in Carmel, CA.
Was told it will take up to 2 months due to Rolex changing their computer systems and post covid etc.

I tried to read through the 3235 issues thread...it's just too much information. It sounds like a lubrication issue and some chemical that keeps it from "running" off wasn't applied.

Also, I could care less if it's +10/-10 per day. I understand how some people doubt there is a 3235 issue if you are griping about +10/-10 per day.

Mine was +300/-300 per day. Acceptable for a cheap movement, not for Rolex.

Hopefully, they will tell me what they find so I can post it.

I'm hoping i don't have to keep this big boy on a watch winder forever.

I thought it was ok for it to stop and having the time set every once in a while.

But if that's what it takes to keep it from running this slow, I guess I will do it
