Damaged jubilee hollow end links

Today I noticed that one of my end links is damaged and missing one of the tubes. While I am sorting this out with the shop I bought it from (as this should be covered under warranty), I wonder whether a piece like this is usable or not. I noticed the end link being slightly loose in the first place so I assume the tubes are there for a reason. Hopefully the seller will offer to source new part but thought it may be interesting to post here.

Is the other link fine? I am preparing myself to have to buy new ones for 200$ in case my warranty plan fails I plan to send the bracelet to Michael Young anyways in the next few months - is this something he could/would be willing to fix as well?

If you're refering to Michael Young then yes, I will I was simply wondering whether the link can be used and whether it's common to solder the tube (I assume an aftermarket piece unless these exist separately) back in.

Easy-peasy fix for Michael Young.

Repairing stuff rather than tossing them is a somewhat common thing to do.

Most any decent jewelry repairman could solder in a new tube and reshape the piece, but, naturally, it shouldn't have been sold that way without noting it.

Flat endlinks are cheap through the RSC. There is never a reason to pay 200 bucks for them.

Send the Bracelet to Roberto Lenti in Milan. Much better.
