Yes I am in Geneva too and the Swiss governement will make a statement tomorrow regarding the explosion of Coronavirus cases in Switzerland in the last couple of weeks.
Doesn't look good for the manufacture...

fratello watches did post the snoopy 50 on his speedy tuesday instagram post so i guess he either has one or was able to keep the one he reviewed (for the latter, my understanding is that they usually have to return it .. hence i suspect he has gotten his already)

Someone on IG posted that there will only be 5,000 pieces made. Can anyone confirm this? If true, it’s more limited than the limited edition 50th anniversary from last year lol.

I've heard the same but take it with a grain of salt. It's all speculation right now, they could make this piece for 1 year or 5.

They certainly won't be making it when the 55th comes out

I think Omega is testing the waters with 5000 pieces at first and going from there. If they see the demand is still nuts in a year they'll make another 5000. If the demand settles down they'll pull back on production.

I'm guessing they make roughly 10,000 of them when all said and done. The demand will be there but it'll be some what attainable to those who want them.

Just a question. Do you have any idea what are the Daytona production numbers per year? Or how many of the new Submariners were produced for the launch? Feel free to guess, I have no idea.

The apollo 11 50th sold out in a year and the demand for the snoopy is already hulk level. I think unless your on a list shortly after launch you will find it extremely difficult

If I had to guess, I would say they make about 4000 Stainless Daytona's. 2000 in each of the black and white.

So I had an email from one of the largest OB in Paris and they are telling me that they will receive approximatively 2 snoopy per month.

They make 900,000 - 1,000,000 watches per annum, you need to add some zero's.

Probably somewhere in between 4,000 and 40,000. Afterall, there are many different models. Just look at how many DJ there as an example.

Wish we could get a break down of how many DJ36, DJ41, Daytonas, Subs, GMTs, etc are made a year.

If I were to guess I would say 80% of what Rolex makes are watches you see in the cases that are easy to get....Datejusts have so many possible combinations in 2 tone and full gold...

I would say around 150,000 watches are sport models....Explorers, Milgaus, Air Kings, Subs, GMTs, Daytonas. Then broken down further more into tears off those. So lets say out of 150k only 20K are GMTS, brake that down to stainless Steel, 2 tone and full gold.

What I'm trying to say when people say Rolex makes a million watches a year, they think half of those are stainless Steel Subs, GMTs and Daytonas. no way.

Find that highly unlikely they will receive 24 at one OB in a year

And that makes total sense! Thanks for sharing the info.
the expected rate for "large" OB is about 20 per year.
Exactly the same estimate that I got.

It depends how big is the boutique.
So far they are expecting 20 per year of max allocation for the first year.
Smaller OB will have less.
ADs will have definitely less.

Currently on the waitlist at the local Boutique and today received a sms linked to a form to confirm reservation. Hopefully its a good sign as the SA texted me to ask me to make sure that I inputted the address correctly. Anyone else received this (I'm in Malaysia)?

Update from the U.K. OB.

Deliveries still pending from Switzerland.

Due to lockdown in the U.K. till Dec 2nd, ETA for customer deliveries pushed to end-Dec/Jan!

No more orders being taken across Omega OB networks globally.

Max order book.

Folks who are not on interest list can only get hands on them if folks ahead of them drop out.

U.K. specific - No price increase for early 2021 delivery is you have already made a deposit.

Clarified with SA to check if this includes any worst case potential Brexit induced import duties/customs etc. No increase if deposit paid. Rest TBC.

Allocations within OBs (chains/franchises) will still be decided by Head Offices of the respective franchises (not talking ADs here) and proportionate to the branch size/volume/importance.

So getting the watch in hand prior to Xmas looking slim at the moment unless Omega comes through with some larger than average deliveries.

Again like anything on the Internet - take the above with a pinch of salt.

Hey guys, do you know if the Tourbillon Boutique is an OMEGA OB or AD? Bothe OMEGA and Tourbillon Boutique are subsidiaries of the Swatch Group, so difficult I just wanted to know.

If I were a betting man, my money would be on AD.

So in the US, OBs are called OB. So based on that, I’d say AD.

Only heard of a single piece (only for exhibition) in OB Madrid. Not for sale, of course.

I wonder if they are going to slowly trickle out when they do start delivery or a boat load all at once. Only Omega knows I guess.
