Best Panerai - 7 inch flat wrist

Getting the panerai bug but want to know best option for a smaller wrist. Would like one that does not have thick case greater then 14mm and not greater then 44mm. Is the classic panerai, the pam111 and 911 a good choice? Feedback from owners is appreciated. Also, how are radiomirs? Those have peaked my interest as well.

I have a 7" flat wrist as well. I've changed my mind recently while looking at my AD from a Luminor to the Radiomir collections. Two different lugs styles, wire or Luminor lug style. The 42mm (most will say go 44) is perfect and thin with the P1000 movement and they do not have the foldover clasp guard which may be a Pam signature for many yet Im not a fan. Sorry no wrist shot but I'm leaning towards the radiomir 572, I'm liking the small seconds with no 9. This would be my first Pam as well but as of right now I'm still looking..

The luminor marinas would look fine on any wrist. If they have the 42mm in the model you like, I would get that.

Have you checked out the 995/998/999? Each has a 45mm radiomir case with a domed crystal (like the 233). I believe the 995 is no thicker than 13mm, though not sure off hand. Since the case design doesn't have a crown guard, it wears smaller than a 44 Luminor. Also, the green dial and gold hands are reminiscent of a 911.

They've been out for over a year, hopefully you can get a good deal on a new or used one. Let us know what you get.

I have the pam01392 and love the 42mm on my 6.5 inch wrist. My advice is go and try the sizes on at an AD and find your match. I was in between a 42 and 44 and went to try on both and the 42 fit like a glove.

I have to admit the pam995 is catching my eye, similar thickness to my Rolex 16610 and 16570 which I like

Best is very subjective as is personal watch size preference. The 995 is a nice Radiomir and I had one on the wrist a few months back. I passed on it as prefer 47mm but really thought they did a nice job with it. You do really need to try them on and get a feel as they don't wear as big as you might think. Remember though they are Panerai and should be big watches per their historic roots. Good luck and lots of nice options out there.

I have the exact same wrist size and shape as you.

When I went down the Panerai rabbit hole I thought 47mm was far too large for my wrist. I tried on tons of 42's and 44's, Luminors and Radiomirs.

I finally ended up with this one, a 47 mm Radiomor, about 16mm thick. I wanted something that was sort of true to the original design roots with a modern flare and this one (IMHO) is just that.

I think I fits great but I realize size is very subjective. In my view Panerai are supposed to be big watches and as Ken said above, luckily there's tons to choose from.

Good luck in your hunt

Go and try them on. Forget size, depth of case etc. Just find what’s most comfortable. You might be surprised. I have Pam233 which is a 44mm 1950 case with manual wind movement making it a bit slimmer than the autos.

I have a 7 inch wrist and PAM372 fits just fine. Another thing to consider, which people often overlook, is your overall build. Wrist size isn’t the only factor.
