PAM 111 Lume

So recent incoming PAM111, H-series. Was purchased by previous owner in 2019 preowned from Tourneau. Box, papers, Tourneau receipt--everything.

When I charge the lume, it glows really brightly, but only lasts a few minutes before it becomes a dull glow and then eventually fades out.

By contrast, my Rolex 114060 doesn't glow as brightly, but stays dimly luminescent for longer.

Is this similar to what others are seeing with PAMs from mid-2000's?

I have a K (2009 IIRC), it is bright for a while, then glows softly for hours and hours. Once your eyes adjust, in the middle of the night you can still see the time, but it doesn't glow like a blow torch for hours.

Mine is a 2007. Glows brightly for about 30 minutes then is readable throughout the night with adjusted eyes.

Irony even though it's called Luminor the lume suck in Panerai's.. Im spoiled my the lume of my Pelagos , no watch can match it. My Panerai is worth 5 times but still just average lume.
