How is it “minty” in your words yet there are missing links and no papers?

And from the image, bracelet stretch?

Confusing....

If you buy that watch for 28K you are going to make someone VERY happy! (And I'm not talking about your Mom.)

Could always buy this one, put a generic DD dial in it and send it in to get it serviced and choose any dials Rolex has in stock and still likely end up a few thousand ahead
That looks pretty sweet too!

Seems overpriced but mostly it makes me think of Kramer wearing the Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Sorry man, I was just joking. I’m sure whatever you get her she’ll cherish. I’ll be curious to see what you finally decide to go with. Good luck.

Just a side note. I made the "mistake" of clicking on the link to view one of the suggested watch alternatives and have now seen this same diamond encrusted watch 20+ times on my home page, mail page, etc. Never again.

Sorry thought it was older than it is. 28k seems very high in that condition.

28k can buy a lot of things and help hundreds of people. If it was my mum id ask her what she really wanted first. Whether she would be comfortable wearing that kind of statement piece etc. I try not to project my hobbies on others where possible.

Doesn’t even look real. Get her a nice date-just with diamond dial.

Would never pay that much for this example. As others said, does not look original and no papers?! HARD pass. (To say nothing of the actual aesthetics of the piece in question.)
