Which one between Omega Seamaster 300 and 300M?

Hi Guys,

Was looking at Seamaster 300 and Seamaster 300M the one with a wave dial. Which one you guys prefer and why?

I had the same predicament as you when I was looking to purchase. What colour are you after?

300M because I like the date window at 6. I also like the white dial w/ black bezel.

I don't really like the fake patina on the 300.

300M Wave models are breathtaking to look at, very sharp watches. I saw a video of a black on black 300M alongside a Rolex Submariner and the later looked a very old style watch compared to the Omega 300M.

Yes, the 300M certainly looks more modern and interesting than the Subc due to the wave dial and the dimensions.

I still prefer the Rolex Oyster bracelet though. However, the 300M in rubber strap looks very sharp.

Can't beat the value of the 300M.

I think overall the 300m is a better watch, and a better value when buying new/ unworn from greys. The 42mm 300m wears quite well, honestly feels and looks smaller than 42mm. Personally I think the 300m is more suited to daily wear, and take more of a beating.

I settled on the blue dial 300m. Beautiful watch that has enough presence whilst still being a great tool watch. The date function is a great addition and you can easily change timezones without stopping the watch or affecting the minute hand.

300M by a fraction. Both will be better if slightly thinner case. 300 dial without the date is my favourite but case design wears a it too big for me

I mean one is a vintage look and one is modern. Depends your style. I prefer the modern myself. I see the appeal of the vintage though.

Well done. Have you been online yet and looked up the metas results for your watch? I wear mine regularly in rotation with others in my collection. Always feel good when it's on my wrist. Great presence. Love the date window at 6 and the display back.

The 300M still looks more modern and very interesting, i would always go for it more than the 300.
