That Monta is a lot of watch for the money. The bracelet is incredible. Would like an actual dressed ETA for that $$

If you’re talking value, I’d also make an argument for a Sinn and a Steinhart. Of course they’re not Rokexes but they are less expensive and way more available.

A good article and I have owned the Seiko and a Black Bay, not the 58 as listed. For what it is,the Submariner is the best in class and sets the benchmark. If you do not want a Rolex you have alternatives. But if Rolex is the answer then the others do not do it.

I love the Seiko Sumo, great watch for the money. I sold the Tudor, must have got a bad one, lots of problems.
