Incoming Speedmaster Tokyo 2020 Panda

Hi there,

I finally pulled the trigger for this bad boy over the week-end. I have been thinking about getting a Speedmaster for quite some time and this one was always in the back of my mind (for good reasons IMO!).

Cheers,

I read on the omega forums that one of the problems on this watch is that the caseback engravings are too sharp. Is that true?

Am considering picking one up also.

Beautiful watch

Great choice!! I love mine!! As to the case back engravings, they are sharp to the touch but have not affected the level of comfort or do any physical harm. Just my opinion. I wear my bracelets rather loosely. Not loose enough to rotate around my wrist but not tight either. Here’s mine:

Beautiful watch
I had a blue dial and it was very noticible and a bit aggravating. I sold it after 3 months

Beautiful watch

I have read that as well, I have been wearing the watch quite extensively over the last few days and I wear it quite tight but I haven’t noticed any discomfort at all.

Will see over time!

I have the blue and haven’t had any issues with case back comfort. OP, congrats! I tried getting Panda when I was in Japan many months ago and it was sold out completely

Looks great. Sad for Tokyo and the Olympics. We were in Tokyo in September 2019 and they were looking forward to it.

Congrats on a great looking watch! I prefer this and the Mitsukoshi panda dials over the Apollo XI 35th LE.

We all need a little speedy in our lives. My son was in Japan last summer and I said if he comes across one, pick it up - He grabbed the green as I have nothing in my collection with this much color.
