I'm thinking anything blank is no bueno. But I've heard dealers are given blanks to fill out.
Just don't see the logic behind that if brands want to protect their product.

I have never seen a certificate where the reference, caliber and movement were blank.
There's a section on the form for the dealer to fill out, but that ain't it.

This seems extremely odd and I'm not even clear what value it has. Is whoever bought it supposed to fill in the blanks like some write-in candidate on an election ballot?

Who would buy that?
