5270 or 5370 for me, or for sports the AP RG Pride of Germany, if your wrists can take it.

One or two out of 5711/5712/5740 is enough modern Nautilus for me. Anything beyond I would offload including all thicker and any non-bracelet Nautili.

In terms of what to get I might think 5970, 5078 basic MR, and I'd probably also give RM a serious look. The 5370P is a very pretty watch but to my ignorant and poor self it just doesn't look 150+k better than a black-dial 5170G.

I agree with most RM not the way to go.
Hold tight or if bored move in a 5370p. I can speak from
first hand ownership and agree its by far the best modern PP.

The 5370 is a nice watch and costs about three times as much as an RM 67-01. And the price of the 5370 will tank as soon as you walk out the door with it.

Most definitely for the RM. I don’t believe all the here today gone tomorrow talk. And the same could happen with PP. Nobody knows what will be popular ten years from now. Four years ago you could walk into an AD and buy an Aquanaut or a Nautilus. Also, MSRP on the RM 67-01 is 85K, MSRP on the 5370 (the best modern Patek haha) is 257K. So if you want to sell the RM you won’t lose much but you can buy a new 5370 from a reputable grey for 210K today. Try and sell it and you’ll lose your ass.

Hey guys, I find myself wanting the 5370p as well but I don't really understand why. Can you someone shred me some light on it?

Back to OP's topic, I have some nautilus' and RM's. Personally I think the only RM worth giving u a few nautilus would be the 11-03 series.

Seeing as this was a trade I assumed the entire deal was grey. In that case the 67 is around what a 100k and the Patek is 200k.

Much rather take a 20% discount on a 5370 than pay a 20% premium on a simple RM. But hey that’s just me.

Either way doesn’t matter as the OP doesn’t favor the 5370 which is just fine.

I love RM, but I love Patek too (if not more) and wouldn't do this trade.

I think the RM67-01 is an excellent choice and very wearable.

In fact I'm waiting for mine and it will be my first RM.

I was fortunate to get two rare handcrafts in 2019 (5131/1P & 5160/1G)
but I'm kind of experiencing "Patek" fatigue and questioning my blind loyalty to all things Patek so why not try a fun and hot brand like RM.

Oh come on chap… how the **ck are we supposed to know how YOUR mind operates?
It’s bad enough figuring out our own psyche, without trying to delve into someone else’s!

I know, that was my first reaction, but Russell answered it in the TRF way.

Personally no but I know someone that’s sold a few and made money on all of them. And personally I’ve sold some Patek and lost money on them.

No that’s not correct. Before the Nautilus and Aquanaut hype I sold nautilus and aquanauts for less than the discounted msrp I paid for them. I’m not the only TRF Patek owner that has done that either.

It’s funny, but before the hype and before the 20% price increase, and before you had to pay MSRP (if you’re lucky!), some TRFers decided the 5711 was worth selling at a loss. Now everyone thinks 1.5x MSRP is a steal.
