1675 red back insert check

Hello,

I'd like an opinion on this insert. Does it look genuine? I noticed that the 6 and 8 look closer to the inside edge of the insert, the one in question is the one thats not on the watch..... Full insert photo below also. Are there fake red backs out there?

Thanks!

Not aware of fake reds but would not surprise me if they are out there.

Yes 100% legit (the one not on the watch)

Depending on the date of manufacture, the font and placement of the numerals varies on these. The earlier ones have a much fatter font for example.

Both inserts appear genuine.

The insert on the watch is circa 1980s - which in my opinion is the last version of red backs based on the type of "8s" found on this insert.

1675 red back insert check

I like the colors of the new one, they are lighter.

I’m wearing this on my 83 16750, I am Curious of the rough date. Red back obv.
