Where did you send your watch for service

Well like the title reads, where did you send your watch in for service and where you happy? What was the turn around time?
any input is appreciated.

14060 via RSC Toronto took 3 weeks
OP 6618 via RSC Toronto took 2 months (had to source dial and hands from Geneva)

Happy with the service.

I would go with the Dallas RSC if you must use a RSC.

When my watch is due for service I will send to fellow TRF'er Rikki.

John Brozek at qualitytyme.net in Florida. Uses genuine Rolex parts and service is better than RSC. Watch keeps better time now that when new!

I took mine to RSC in NY. It's still there (it's only been a couple of weeks). I hope they do a good job.

The few Rolex watches I've had serviced I've sent to the Dallas RSC. Probably send my father's TT Sub that way next month, they're always a pleasure to deal with.

Local jeweler who useses a retired Rolex employee. Took three weeks and did a wonderful job.

I've only used RSC Dallas. I probably won't use them again. Their case and bracelet refinishing on watches (other than my Daytona) did not make me happy. Most likely will use Mr. Ridley in the future.

I have used Illinois Watch Company and the service was amazing. The watch maker is CW21 certified and actually has been a tester for people trying to get there certification. I had my Tudor 79280 back in 10 days including mail time. Also sent pictures during the whole process so I could see my Tudor taken apart

Sent my Sea Dweller to Rik at timecare, came back as new and +1 sec/day, and a 4000' pressure test printout. Took a week, and I couldn't be happier. Also sent a Bell & Ross Space 3 that had stopped, expecting a big $ repair, he replaced a screw that worked it's way loose, $35... My 5513 is on its way down next. He's got my business for all out of warrantee work.

My explorer II is at RSC NY. It's been 1 week after receiving my estimate and they quoted me for 4 weeks. I'm itching to get it back on my wrist.

I was disappointed with RSC NY in 2011. Sent a 14060 there and it came back half polished. It looked like someone started the job and took lunch or went away for the weekend and never finished it. I was amazed it made it through a final quality check. To their credit the manager was very nice about fixing the situation but the experience was frustrating and delayed my enjoyment of the watch for a few weeks. I expected more of a $700 service.

16610 Sub went in for its first service after 7 years. Less than 2 week turn around and it looks like new!

No reason to go anywhere else.

Just got back my new to me 78 Tudor 94110 from Rik at time care, running at cosc on a non cosc eta movement after 32 years. No more RSC for me. Quick turn around as well.

+1......I'm a new Rolex owner (purchased my 79 Presidential this past month). It hasn't been serviced since 2000 (when it was overhauled by RSC). However, it has also mainly been sitting in a bank vault. I put it in the mail yesterday and it's on it's way to Florida as I'm typing this via registered mail (hope that doesn't take weeks to arrive :( ). I'm excited and have read nothing but positive experiences by TRF members about Rikki's work. I have to admit though, after a few weeks of wearing it everyday, I felt very empty without it on my wrist today :( But, I look forward to getting it back...... Rikki has been exceptional in his replies to my e-mails and even though I have no prior experience with him, I have a lot of faith. This is a great forum!

Although I don't have a Rolex, I'm sending my vintage tissot bumper to dimitrie vicovanu in NYC at masters of time for a full overhaul Of the movement and crystal replacement sometime in november. He specializes in vintage, and sells and services vintage patek Phillipe as well. I've never used him before so I will let you guys know how it turns out.

Took my 1990 model 16220, that i purchased here, to my local AD and they sent to Rolex Canada, they told me the watch had never been serviced before and it was around $700 including couriers and taxes to get the watch back looking and running as new. That's less than $0.40 per day ( assuming service every 5 years) I think the pleasure of ownership of such an item is worth more that this small cost.
I was very happy with the value I received at Rolex Canada and when I need additional work done on my modest collection they will be going to Rolex Canada as well.

People send their watches to Tom from all over the world. He has rebuilt all my watches. I recommend him highly!

If anyone is in the San Diego area, I take my watch to a guy in San Diego that is a certified Rolex, Omega, Patak, and many high end watches. All,of the high end retailers send there watches to him for service. He rebuilt my wife's Datejust including deassemble, clean all parts, reassemble, regulate, and polish for a minute $450. Turn around in around two weeks cause of workload. Anyone interested in his info, PM me and I will give it to. He is honest, reliable, and does great work. I refer him to all of my friends.

I guess I should have read the full posting because D Time Service is the one I was talking about. The owners name is Tom and he is a GREAT guy to deal with.
