Wow do we have the EXACT same taste. Your entire collection is what I want to build towards, with the exception being that I would have already had a White Gold Oysterflex by now!!

I would absolutely put the black Daytona towards a Grey Ghost Daytona (I’m not one for nicknames but I sure do love that one). You have so many black dials annd metal bracelets already and the Ghost is very unique, both in dial and strap.

I would move a black SS towards either of those two watches. What about YG Paul Newman Daytona OF to as something very different to your collection since you already have lots of SS and an everose?

Is having the black and white redundant in a collection of 6 Rolexes (GMT sprite/Pepsi, black Daytona SS, white Daytona SS, green Sub, everose olive green day date)?

I know it’s my decision but always like feedback from fellow collectors/watch enthusiasts. Cheers!
I really like my two Daytonas and they are for sure keepers. My newest is the 500 white dial from 2016. However, I cannot warm up to the newer versions with the metal ring around the ceramic bezels. Anyone else having this issue?

As already stated make sure you really like the OF and find it comfortable.
I thought I loved it till I wore one for a few minutes and I rather PM on a PM bracelet.
Personally Id wait till I could rationalize a PM Daytona on a bracelet as you can always put it on a Rubber B or Everest rubber.
FWIW I had a Rubber B on a sub for a while and a GMT on Everest. I found them much more comfortable than an OF. I ended up tossing them both back on the Rolex bracelet after a few weeks though. Modern Rolex just seems to work better on bracelet. I do love my 1675 and 5513 on Nato's but they are much lighter than Modern Rolex so don't have the balance issue to me.

Putting it on a rubber strap is akin to switching to left hand when you should really just take a break.

Not me. I own three 116 ceramic Daytonas and I love the new metal ring on the 126s. Can’t wait to buy one….

Absolutely never trade or sell any variation of a stainless steel Daytona.

If you want a PM version, wait and save longer or sell other watches in the collection.

I love it when it is full metal bracelet, no chance i would sell the Daytona for a rubber strap.

Lots of OF haters! I for one love the OF Daytona, they look amazing on straps, and can not recommend them enough!

I would sell the black dial Daytona (you have two anyways!) and go for a rose gold OF for a bit of difference. Believe it or not it goes under the radar, I wear mine every single day!

I'm in the minority here but I like the black dial SS Daytona more than the white. But based on your collection and black dials, it makes sense to sell the black. Back to your original question, no, I wouldn't sell. Good luck!

I am with you on this. I own both SS and the WG OF. I think the black is sexy, elegant and can be used in formal situations. The white dial is bright, sporty and fun looking. The WG OF is the bomb. I love this watch so much. I feel fortunate to all of them and would not let any of them go.

I have come to really enjoy white gold. I am picking up the OF wg reverse panda very soon with the intention of it being my daily. I like black Daytonas so it will pair with my 116500 black if want a bracelet look.

I like the daytona duo that you have now. You probably only wear one of them at a time lol. If you like them both, I dont see an issue in keeping both.

Regarding the OF I think you should try it out. If you like it more than the black dial SS, then its an easy deal. Otherwise, nothing wrong with having both dial colors in the SS Daytona.

Last but not least, you can always put the black dial one that you have on OF. Smarty end links + OF and you are good to go if thats the look you are looking for.

My dealer just got in my Everose 126515. I’m keeping both my white and black 116500. On a relative basis, Rolex only made the 116500LN for a short time (about 7 years).

Normally I would be a no on this, but since you have both black and white SS Daytonas I’d say go for it!

I gave my white dial SS Daytona to my wife and bought a YG PN Daytona on an Oysterflex. This has become my favorite watch of everything I own. It's just stunning.

Interesting. Did you buy it like this or put the end links and OF on later?
