Are the 12 series subs more comfortable than the 11s

Hi I'm wondering if any owners of both could let me know? I've seen a lot about the lug differences (or not) and bracelet/clasp etc. But wondering in terms of overall comfort on the wrist - is there any noticeable difference one way or the other?

The answer to this is going to be based more on opinion than fact, it depends on the wearer and how the watch is worn. The modern Oyster bracelet is superlatively more comfortable than it's predecessors regardless but I don't own a new model so I can't say whether the slight increase in size would effect comfort for me personally.

I had the opportunity to try on a 12 Sub at a AD and it felt a tad bit slimmer and more balanced then a 11 Sub. That might be do to the wider bracelet, I've heard it balances the watch better. This is just my short experience, everyone's will vary specially since wrist and worst bones are all so different.

Guys, we all get carried away with new measurements, features and specs (I’m very guilty of it too) but let’s be real, there not much difference in the two. Very minor. I tried a new sub on this past week and was allowed to handle it for a few mins. Honestly, the wider clasp on the new one may even bother some people if you’re accustomed to the previous model. I like the new 41 (love the bluesy) But in the end they wear very similar, at least to me on my 7” wrist.

The 12 is more comfortable than the 11. The 11 felt top heavy with the smaller bracelet. The 12 sits better on my wrist and the bracelet is very comfortable.

Same

I’d say the 12 seems to wear a bit thinner for some strange reason ... maybe it’s just an optical illusion.

the 12 feels a tiny bit better on the top of the wrist,
but a lot worse on the bottom of the wrist due to the very wide clasp

I don't think they feel identical, for me it seems to lay flatter on my wrist. Wears more like my EXP II 42mm in that way. I really enjoy the case change.

I have a 12 but no 11. I think because of the wider bracelet on the 12 it will wear more evenly and thus be more comfortable but it's not like you're wearing a barbed wire with the 11 lol The 12 would just be more comfortable, relatively speaking.

I'm not sure about Subs but the OP41 is better proportioned and quality compared to the OP39 white dial. Very happy I got the new one. White dial OP39 very overrated.

Overall, I think Rolex does a good job of incrementally improving things. The newer bracelets and cases are just..better leading to better comfort and proportions and balance.
