Off centered date numeral

Hi guys, I got a 15500st just a couple months ago (finally pulled the trigger after years of admiration) and noticed that the date numeral is slightly off centered. The watch functions perfectly fine, and the numeral still sits within the date box, but it's a touch too high. How often does something like this happen and do you know how difficult it is to get this fixed? I'm probably being too neurotic.. Attached photos in a slightly different angle. Thanks a lot!

Looks fine to me.

Here's mine for comparison. Maybe u can change the date to 8 as its perfectly symmetrical.

If all else fails you can always send it to the service centre. Maybe when the warranty is ending as i wouldn't want them to open my watch unnecessarily.

That's a good suggestion about 8, so I took a photo. Again, it's not as egregious in distance but subpar.

Here’s another shot for your reference, seems like yours might be slightly off.

As an aside, the AP grey and silver/white dials are so gorgeous.

From this picture, the date wheel need to be adjusted.

Personally, I would just wait a few years until it’s due for a service and have it adjusted then. An alternative might be to take it into the fine boutique on 57th Street in New York City and see what they say.

Congratulations on a wonderful watch.

Thanks for the suggestion (and other inputs), that makes a lot of sense. Cheers!
