Aqua Terra 8500
Wow, tried on the newer Aqua Terra..tech grey dial at an AD yesterday and it is sharp! Anyone here own one? If so, is it a comfortable watch on the wrist?
Thanks! |

Got the quartz version. Looks great but not comfortable. The clasp digs in to your wrist. I have resized it several times but still not comfortable. The Rolex and Tag gets more wrist time than the Aqua Terra. I regret buying it. Thank god I did not buy the 8500 version and paid almost $5000 for it.

I owned two AT 2500's and I found them very comfortable. Presently, the only Omega I own is the 39mm Railmaster (same case as AT) with bracelet - very, very comfortbale on my 6 3/4 inch wrist. Highly recommended!

I have a 41mm Teck Grey 8500 and I find it to be very comfortable. I wear the bracelet slightly loose to allow for my wrist changing size throughout the day (especially now that it's summer).
It's a dual-deployment bracelet, so you may need to play around with how many links are on each side to get a good fit. It comes with a half-link as well, so I was able to get a perfect fit. Very nice watch!!! Steve |

I have the 38.5mm midsize. I can't say enough about the accuracy of the 8500 movement.

I like the Aqua Terra but I think it looks sharper on the leather band. Possibly more comfortable as well. This is the combo I like -

I totally agree. I think the Aqua Terras are crying out for leather straps.

I tried on the woman's version of this watch, thought it was very smart looking and came dangerously close to purchasing one. I still haven't ruled out that possibility.

The AT is a beautiful watch. I'm sorry that you have not made it comfortable for you. As has been suggested, a nice leather strap on it might be just the thing you need. Cheers, Bill P.
