My RXW

Big is not the word to describe this watch!, fills the top of my wrist from side to side. As Padi said this watch keeps exceptional time and will double as a boat anchor if you find yourself stuck without one on occasion.

RXW takes a lot of heat from some paneristi, but they're well made and great value. Not a 'fake' IMHO at all, just a nice hommage that's truer to the original than the ones from Panerai, I think.

Well got to agree with you John, and in a lot of ways like you say much truer to the original in every way.A homage to a watch made by Panerai, but was not a Panerai, in the true sense of the word, only made by them.

Yes, an hommage to the ones made by Guido Panerai et Figlio (GPF), not the company that bought legal rights to the Officine Panerai name in 1997.

GPF is still in existance and still making various doo-dads for the Italian navy.

Thanks all :o)
I also have a watch which was sold to the Italian Special Forces (incoursori) back in the mid 80's it's a PACE quartz made by Breitling I had just missed getting the automatic case by ?? sorry I don't remember now but, was a very rugged watch by all means. I'll get a good shot of it and post it
