Looking for info....Rolex chronometre Serpico y laino

I'm trying to find any information on a vintage rolex. It has Rolex Chronometre with SERPICO Y LAINO beneath it. There are some identification numbers on the back... one is 3525. Any help would be appreciated.

Some pictures would be nice.

You can't post links yet but you can attach images from your computer if you click "Go Advanced" and then "Manage Attachments" to attach images. Note the size restriction on the files, both in pixels and bytes!

With that said, there are plenty of counterfeit older Rolex chronographs and they all seem to be of some lesser brand originally.

In case you didn't know, Serpico Y Laino is a South American Rolex dealer that used to put their name on watch dials. It is also sometimes counterfeited.

It has been in my family since the late 40s. I'm looking to know more about it and what type of band it had.

I do not know the exact reference number, but this type of case was called "bull horn lug".

Between the early 1930s - 1966, Serpico Y Laino was an authorized Rolex dealer in Venezuela, and indeed they used to stamp the dials with their name (just like Tiffany&Co).
