FS. Tudor Submariner 7928. 1967

Up for sale is my beautiful Tudor Submariner 7928 with the original MK5 dial. SN 507xxx. The watch is in very good vintage condition with the expected use signs including scuffs and marks on the case. The dial has taken on a tropical patina that looks wonderful in direct sunlight. There is a small service mark on the dial around the 3 o’clock marker. The bezel has faded to a beautiful gray that again, in certain light cools down and almost looks blue. The specks in the pictures are in the crystal, not the dial as I believe this is the original crystal. Watch is fully original with the only questionable service part being the lume pearl at 12. The case has been lightly polished in the past but as seen in the pictures, remains incredibly true to form and thick. Service history is unknown, but the movement winds perfectly and keeps good time.

Price & Shipping: Watch is $8900 via bank wire. I will ship the watch within the CONUS insured for $75. Additionally, I am happy to meet in NYC for a face-to-face transaction. Reach out via PM here or matthewherrmann84 @ yahoo . com with any questions. Instagram: @mtherrmann.

I am also open to trades for a 70s-80s snowflake submariner.

Also, I neglected to mention in my original post: The tropical dial has the rare zinc sulphide lume aka “Glowie Tritium” that was only used for about two years (1967 - 1968) on the 1960’s Tudor Submariner’s.
