I know tell me about it! I am also quite doubtful of the ones on eBay as why would someone who can afford an AP need to sell a hat at that price?

There are some genuine ones on ebay and some false ones, but after spending over a £100 on my Gucci cap I won't splash out that much on another. I was bidding for a rare PP one, others had it for sale at over £200, but I tapped out at £50.

To be fair I think it is the other way round. If they can afford an AP it's not worth the trouble selling for anything less.

I had 2 of these hats. Gave one to my dad who has no idea what AP is and the other to my brother. Both are probably just sitting in their closets somewhere.

Can't think of much worse than someone almost being mugged for their generic High Street watch because their cap gave a mugger some HH hope.

Are these only available from AP boutiques as give-always? I only wear caps on the golf course, but an AP cap would do a great job of taking the attention away from my golf!!

Yes, as "give-aways", but generally to owners of AP products to maintain exclusivity and perceived value. As with other AP branded marketing items, if they were available to simply buy they would no longer hold such perceived value and desirability.
