Oyster Perpetual Day Date

Howdy! I've recently come across a box of random watches. Unfortunately, I don't know much about watches so it's a slow process to figure out exactly what I have.

I do, however, recognize the name Rolex. I'm posting a photograph of a watch that I'm hoping the experts on this forum could help me identify. I'm curious about the history, how old this particular watch may be, and how much it may cost in its current condition.

The watch dial says "Oyster Perpetual Day Date."

Any information is much much appreciated!

Looking on the bright side, if it's a wooden box, you would probably get more money for that than this watch, also, a wooden box will burn nicely, that watch won't do anything nicely!
