Buy up what you can now...not that there is much to buy.

And with most manufacturers taking 'summer break' soon, forget about any new inventory until AFTER the price increase most likely.

Looks like I'll have to increase my 5522 sales price to UK now

Across the board. It's a normal price rise to adjust for the weakness of sterling. This follows the 10% increase last year.

Karl - thanks for the heads up

Managed to get an order in before the price rise.

Think it will hurt more when there are no bar staff as all the Eastern Europeans have returned, you can't find a decent plumber as all the Poles have gone to Germany and all the banking jobs go to Dublin!!

Lol that will never happen.

On the upside, at least this is a step towards grey market dealers and foreign buyers going somewhere else to buy. Meaning more stock for us!

So, you can lock in the current price by prepaying as Karl did or "placing an order" as Oyrx did before a potential price increase?

Glad to hear no price increase in the US. I have a deposit down on a 5711 blue with delivery expected towards the end of the year.

Not necessarily, depends on the AD, and I would say in most cases the price you pay is the price at delivery.

Yes I have ordered with a delivery date before 01 Sept. Hence why I will (hopefully) avoid the price rise.
