Insurance Appraisals

In order to insure my watches I need appraisals since I don't still have many receipts. Any suggestions on the best and most easy way to accomplish this?
Thanks!

Where did you buy them? Any AD should do it for you. May charge a small fee but if you bought from them they may not.

Go to a watch store that does appraisals. You will be charges a fee and can shop around by phone. I also would not leave my watch.

I called different jewelry stores in my area and asked how much watch appraisals were. There was a range of different prices, the most expensive being $125 per watch which seemed offaly high to me..

I decided to go with the same store where I purchased my LVc, they offered the lowest price on the appraisals since I was a return customer..

If the watches are newly purchased, an AD or Trusted Seller can usually send you an appraisal for free. If not, find someone who does appraisals for jewelry, they can usually do watch appraisals too. I think I paid around $150 for 4 watches and 1 engagement ring.

Unless it is a very high dollar vintage, receipts are irrelevant.

Insurance appraisals are for replacement value, so any Rolex seller can check to make sure that it is authentic, then give you an "appraisal" that replacement value is what a new one will cost.
