Milgauss real or no real?

Hello guys, Can I have your opinions on this Milgauss that I have recently purchased as I know a lot of you have a keen eye for this sort of thing? It came with its box & all the paperwork/tags however it has what seems to be a tiny fibre on the second hand? The watch was purchased from a very reputable used watch dealer, Thanks.

Welcome aboard and congrats on your watch. Not really seeing the lint you're talking about. Did you ask the seller? What's his/her explanation? Perhaps someone opened the case.

I do not see anything either - can you point out where?
Watch looks good!

I must admit it is rather small.

OK, I thought it may be that.
Personally, I would get it removed by an authorized Rolex workshop.
It could effect the timekeeping of the watch

But visible.

I would discuss this with the seller and have it taken care of at the first service?

I didn't notice it until i looked through a loop. Do you think it's come out the factory like that or has it been opened up? It's a 2015 watch so I can't see any reason why it would need opening up?

I have an SS Daytona bought new from an AD.

It has never been opened and it had a very small piece of lint on the dial.

I can't see it there any more so I doesn't bother me but it was there from the factory.

Well, it's still under warranty. Why not contact an RSC and ask ?

My 2014 SubC bought brand new from an AD had a piece of lint on the dial and another bit on the date wheel. I left them alone till last year when I accidentally damaged the cyclops, so I sent the watch in to an RSC to have a new crystal fitted. At the same time I asked for the lint to be removed. I waited 3 months and the watch came back with a new crystal, the dial lint removed but the date wheel lint still in situ.
So back to the RSC it went, lots of apologies from Rolex Kent and within a week my Sub was back with the date wheel lint gone. Unfortunately the movement or the dial was not put back 100% straight, so the rehaut coronet is not lined up to the 12 marker lol. Drove my OCD mad for a while but I've calmed down now and it can be straightened when it goes for a service in a few years :-) (it's only out a tad).

Anyway errr, apologies for my tale of woe hijacking your thread. You have a beautiful watch, wear it in good health. If the lint bothers you then get your RSC to remove it, if not get it done at service time :-)

Personally, I would not be OK with that. Rolex prices and service costs are such that nothing short of perfect should expected.

Yes I agree but I'd had enough of sending it off to the RSC and honestly it's only off a micron, only a WIS or the OCD inclined would notice. I'll admit it irritated the hell out of me at the beginning but I'm over it now. The RSC said they would compensate me for the hassle but I literally couldn't be bothered, they have a record of it and have promised it will be sorted whenever I want. Service time will be fine for me

Very nice Milgauss. If the lint stays within the dial then I'd just have it done at service time. I don't have a patience level that can deal with sending out a watch for long.

Holy crap, for Rolex that is BAD. I would have been upset. What RSC so I know to never go there? Thanks
