Looks like a redialed 16610 with non solid end-links. Experts should be here to chime in momentarily.

Looks like what it claims to be. 16610 with aftermarket bezel insert and dial.

Clearly modified; many buyers don't care.

As pointed out though, it has a cheap aftermarket dial and bezel insert. If you're going to buy used, you need to do a lot of research on your own first before making a purchase. good luck |

I posted when I first joined (May 2017) about this seller and these stainless subs with the aftermarket dial and insert. If you look at some of the others, seems to be a few sellers in/around the Los Angeles area selling these 16610's with the blue inserts. I don't think there is anything fake or misrepresented about them since he clearly notes these aspects are aftermarket. Looks like he's sold enough of them in the past w/good feedback.
As someone else noted - for some that may be OK, and for others not so much. For me, personally, I decided not to go this route as I kept thinking the aftermarket aspect would bother me long-term. Additionally as someone pointed out, Rolex won't service it seeing aftermarket parts installed. Good luck in finding a timepiece that suits your interest and needs! |

"aftermarket" would be an original dial with diamonds added because none of the Rolex parts would be fake and it would be just something modified not by Rolex. This one may be a non rolex dial all together. Bamford is aftermarket in that they modify the original parts not replace them with fakes. Excluding the diamonds, does everyone think the dial itself is Rolex made and maybe just painted as I'm no expert and can't really tell for sure from the pics? Or is the dial replicated to look like a rolex dial and put into the watch? |
