No way unless you're getting significant cash on top of the DD.

I personally would never do that trade, but if it makes you happy and you like the DD more then go for it

Value wise, if both watches were in a dealers window which would have the higher value? Apols I'm not up to speed on current second hand prices.
If one watch is worth significantly more than the other, would there be cash either way?
Once that's sorted I suppose it really is down to personal preference.
Both are beautiful watches for different reasons.
Could you happily say good bye to such a gorgeous Sub?
Sorry if the above isn't much help but unfortunately I think this is one of those dilemmas ultimately only you can answer for yourself.

Regards..

i already have a Day Date 18308 which i love.... there is something about the Meteorite dial that is just soooooo cooool!
i think $ for $ they are worth about the same so i guess it comes down to preference....

I might have to sleep on this one, i do like my sub but it doesn't get much wrist time due to work (not that the DD will ever be worn to work so that's really irrelevant lol)

yeah hard one...........

Imo, keep the Sub, trade the DD you already have, for meteorite DD, plus a little cash to seller...

I believe the values to be off even though you do not have a complete set for the Sub. Send a Trusted Seller a note and inquire about the sell value and trade value of your watch. Then go from there.

I wouldn't, I like the meteorite dial but prefer it on sportier model like a Daytona, and preferably with ceramic bezel.

I do not know the market prices but they are both stunning watches. Does it really matter to loose or win some $$? We are looking at top of the line watches here. For me it would depend which watch "sings" to you most.

Money aside, I would do it. I prefer the DD. Though, you should choose the watch you prefer.

If you are being offered an even swap you may be better off selling the Sub and buying the DD.

For a new watch, DD with Meterite dial is more expensive than YG Sub. Whether you should trade or not, simply follow user heart as you can buy another YG Sub easily.
