IMHO. This is the #1 criteria. I suspect that the younger one is (but as we all know, that kind of stuff can change).

Wow some very interesting replies completely off topic ...
I've had both , younger and slightly older. My best success
was with younger ... my wife is 7 yrs younger than me ...
I'd say the younger ... Both have to nurture the relationship
as far as interests go imho... and both have to give and take,
When it's one way only then it becomes the highway!!!

Tell your cousin to just stay single. Much more simple and way less costly in the long run.

Date them both if he feels like it but be up front that marriage kicked him in the sack once and he's not falling for that again. If they wanna bail then that's fine.

Really in my opinion you only marry if you want children and then only if you meet a woman that you can't live without. Do either of those apply?

Wait a minute, deleted posts and threads cause your post count to go down?? Does Mon know of this phenomenon?? .

On a serious note BC, I married an older woman (5 days older) and it has worked out well.

I say the older woman as she is closer to her sexual peak. As long as he has a prenup and the two 20 something kids are completely independent.

I'll admit your like car wreck as one would slowly drive by, but anyone who believes 10% of your post needs to see a shrink. It's just not possible to believe much of your stories. And they're not stories, they are delusional fantasies, so you trying to start a discussion of events that have never happened to 99% of humans that are not easily occurring events IMO, not working

Let's try this, pictures or it didn't happen. It's time you include pictures of say...... a lemon tree, RV, a hidden treasure you found in your house or parents house, how about your gardener trimming your lemon tree that your neighborhood kids steal the lemons from etc.. I'll bet be first to apologize and send you a bag 'o wine.

You must have 2 dozen threads shut down since you joined. How long have been here? Your denial of you not being a troll is laughable. Admitt it.

Let's take a moment to acknowledge our mods for playing it by the books across the board here. This guy would have been punted on any other forum 1000 posts ago lol

Honestly I think you already asked this same question BC?

I'm a proponent of marrying your own age. Anyone with money can marry younger. Nothing proven there.

Yes, that was a good episode.

A colleague from my last job (also a Trekkie) used to work for Bank of America and told me that the actor who plays the Traveler is a lawyer who works/worked for BofA (same office as my colleague). Apparently, he would dress up as the Traveler every halloween. I would love to see that.

This is to be expected. The older woman provides more of a comfort zone in these areas but in her, he sees reflections of his previous marriage + he does not want to deal with any adult children from her earlier marriage interfering with his life. Also understandable. The guy loves to quote rock music and in this particular example/case, he quoted Bob Dylan's lyrics, "Don't you understand? It's not my problem." BTW, he is childless from his first marriage.

In your original post, the only mention of 'love' was in his fondness for quoting song lyrics.
Makes a marriage thread seem kinda pointless.

As an 'old bloke', when I look at many friends/acquaintances, the happiest couples seem to be those who share a number of enduring "interests".
Haven't seen too many "older man, hot much younger woman" cases that lasted very long unless the man was very rich. Even then they usually only lasted long enough for the much younger woman to have a token child and kick him out of the mansion.

BC - your threads are no sillier than half the egotistical ones on here.

What's your point? Nothing you posted is intrinsic to marrying younger or older women.

If someone doesn't have the intelligence to choose, random comments from strangers on a rolex forum aren't going to help.

How you still haven't been banned is the only mystery to me.

Hmmm...the topics you post really do border on the absurd at times. I will take option C for $1000 - he should choose......neither.

My wife is 17 years younger than me, brilliant, we never get bored, have the same sense of humor, she was a fox when I met her, but had other girls who were top of the line physically, Ford and Elite styles, 2 and 1 of these never got the same contact with the uber bombs as I had with my wife and many others, I say sweet and interesting is great, but I still like the physical aspect, waited 36 years, until then really was ok staying single and having friends with benefits like I had all my life, but after 8 months realized we got along so well I had to marry her, that was 10 years ago...
