I have to say I bought this watch last year and everything else has been put to the side and I have quite a large collection. I wear it 24/7 it is perfect.

Edit - didn’t read it was a two tone originally. Pass from me aswell on that one ! One in my local ad window as we speak aswell.

It's a nice looking watch for sure, although I passed when I had the chance as it just didn't suit me very well. I went with the plain SS instead, which I really like and wear daily.

If the original one in the first post sold, don’t worry, these are readily available with a short wait.

I've been waiting on a SS SD 43 5 months now. That seems to be harder to get!

This thread is about the two tone model. The SS variant is indeed more difficult to obtain.

Great gesture!
Of course TT SD 43 may not be so hard to get watch but it well may be in some other cities.

I wonder if Hpadilla had luck getting the grail watch he wanted. That'd be a cool ending.

I have a question for OP - why would the AD call you for this watch? Were you interested in the piece or it was on your wish list? I share the watches I want, and touch base and ultimately receive the ones I want. I don't get called on things they know I'm not interested in.

I wouldn't say hard pass, its actually intriguing and lovely proposition if you like black/gold combination (I do!) TT on a large dive watch is a bit antithesis to the ultimate dive themed watch which makes it more intriguing, the gold lettering is unique and lovely taking place of the infamous red text. It may also have some collectability potential if discontinued since its the only TT SD, not that it should matter. All of this is hard to understand for the hype insta fanboys and those who haven't seen the watch in the flesh.

I did not end up getting that watch. However, two days later I was able to find a Beautiful Bluesy from my AD. Things worked out for the best. Here is a shot of my new Bluesy

Whoa does that have the diamond dial? Start a new thread and post some pics! Didn’t think that was an option on the older bluesy’s.

NOS or pre-owned? Haven’t seen that box or warranty card holder in 6 or 8 years now.

It was, for a brief moment but only on a flat blue and black dial configuration, it wasn't available on the sunburst dial. Would be interested to know how an AD had one in present day.
