Just today...

...went into my former AD. Although, Rolex discontinued business in Spokane WA, this former AD has two new 32mm Datejusts and a SG Daytona on black strap. I'm shocked they haven't sold this yet! Very reasonable price of $28,800. Very curious as there are a few doctors and lawyers in Spokane with that kind of money.

I worked with a Doc in the late 90's who had quite a collection including a SG Daytona on bracelet that he paid $10K for. He also had a Patek and a few others I hadn't heard of at that point in my journey.

Which Daytona? By SG I assume you mean solid gold? Is it the older strap model that came on leather? Or Oytsterflex?

They are all in high demand, so it puzzles me too how it could not be sold.

I think they mean Steel/Gold or two-tone.

Solid gold, on leather strap, black, with Solid gold clasp. It's a couple of years old but brand new in case. and yes, Daytona.

Usually it's referred to as PM Daytona. PM as in precious metal. Or YG, WG or RG for either yellow, white or red gold.if

Ray LaMontagne sold his coat when he hit Spokane. Maybe he was desperate for that diamond dial and needed the extra cash
