Thats amazing bro. Is the date just 36?? Do you feel like the black gmt and submariner are worth having both?

Did you have any purchase history with this AD prior to this 12 month period?

I hear ya, but it would clarify things so others could learn.

I live in a mid-sized town and I found that this helps immensely. Especially after I bought my 228238.

Nice collection!

Like I said, intentionally vague answers. That's why it seems people are "hating" on you. You want to show your accomplishments, but don't want to give any advice to the many people here looking for even one single watch that you've gotten, or even worse, might be intentionally misleading them.

+1. Surprised it took 3 pages and almost 100 posts until someone asked about size of market. That would be nice and helpful. OP, why is size of city you are in something to be discreet about? You don't have to share actual city but general area/size would be somewhat helpful.

wow, $1m and no gmt is bad...i know that's not much if that friend is in the same area as you...about how many years for that spend?

Congrats to you! You were a busy beaver in 12 mos. I put most of my new 6 digit collection together in 2018 from my now one and only Rolex AD. Since then I've added 2 Omegas and a VC. I'm going back for one more.

thanks. yeah, unquestionably a difficult market to be in. not only big spenders, but would not be surprised if that market has a lot of backdoor deals between AD's and grays

Here’s a little piece of advice. Pick one ad and stick with them. I’m in a large market with competition but I don’t play games. If you get a call for multiple pieces from different ADs but cannot afford it, you’re only harming yourself. I only buy watches, we have a personal jeweler for other needs.

Why do you characterize some questions about the way the 'collection' was assembled as hate? Questions, maybe some skepticism, collecting by numbers, but nothing hateful.

All those watches, the hottest Rolex's on the market, one year, same AD, no collateral purchases, guess we have to take his word for it.

Yes. Whenever someone posts an ‘incoming’ it must be a requirement to post answers to these questions for now on.

Yeah.Right.

OP, congrats on your Pepsi at retail. Wear in good health! It’s nice not having to over pay more than these watches are worth. Enjoy.

Who said or even suggested that it was a requirement? I simply compiled all the pertinent questions that people keep asking, and OP keeps dodging with generic answers that might as well be "never give up!" "it can happen to you!" "stick with your AD" "I just gave them a list of what I wanted and they got them all for me!" "You can do it too!"

He equates asking if he's spent a lot of money on non-Rolex with his AD, to asking what his blood type and SSN are lmao.

Beautiful collection, love it and good for you that you were able to assemble it in such a short time frame. Nothing wrong with having a great AD and SA relationship to accomplish that.
Lots of jealousy coming out here!

Nice collection.

it seems pretty clear that a number of ladies and non Rolexes must have been purchased as well in order to get this. Which is fine, but the op seems reluctant to admit it as it would take away some of the shine from his flex.

Not doubting your story (congratulations!) but who is your AD please? I would love to have your collection in 1 year too without other purchases. Please give me the chance to support your AD. Cheers.

In a previous post the OP said it takes about 300k in spend to get the green Daytona. So I don't think the photo captures everything purchased.

We must not be seeing the Pearlmaster collection built over the last 12 months, haha! Show us the Pearlmasters!!

Agreed, not hating, but there's lot of "unimaginative collections" like this just grab everything you can and look at me vs look at you collections, and what I was able to do, etc. hard to find passion and love of horology when seeing this.
