Double Incoming!!!!! Am I crazy?

Good day watchfam!

Today is my lucky day I guess, just gave my local AD a call about Explorer I 124270 and Tudor BB58 925 taupe dial.

They says both are available and ready to be pickup!
This will be my first purchase from an AD.

Am I being crazy as I already have the Explorer I 36mm 114270 (V serial).

Already deposited and picking it up tomorrow.

No, not crazy. A bit silly yes. The world is full of very, very interesting watches... So I don't see a point to own 2 almost similar watches which aren't anything special. (quite good yes, but nothing special)

Anyway, congrats.

Just be sure you really want the watch and not just the opportunity to buy a SS Rolex.

Asking strangers on the internet what they think of your purchases? Now that's crazy! :)

Love the 58. I would pass on the Explorer given the model you already have

Whatever suits you.
I personally wouldn’t want two 36mm Explorers.
Congrats in advance!

Nice - Look forward to the incoming.

Was myself asked for a 33% deposit on the BB58 925 and with an unknown delivery date. Laughed and left

This is just it. A new purchase is always exciting but of the same kind??? That's silly.

How about a comparison between your new Explorer and your old Explorer. Side by side pics are appreciated.

Not crazy at all. When you know what you like, you are way ahead of most collectors! Wear them proudly with no apologies or explanations needed!

No issues. Go get your two watches and wear and enjoy them. Should you want to move one of the Explorers after a bit of a comparison then ok. It is all fun.

Double Incoming!!!!! Am I crazy?

Thanks guys.

Already picked up both this evening. The Explorer I does feel and wear differently from my original 114270.

It feel more substantial and heftier on the wrist compare to older style oyster bracelet. Being honest I feels 114270 wear more comfortable. Still remember the feeling when I switches back from wearing GMT to old Explorer, it feel at home :)

Just my quick reaction.

For Tudor Blackbay58 925, the silver is very very white compare to steel but not as blinky as white gold. Love the Taupe color dial.

Need some break in for the leather strap first in order to experience it fully.

Congrats on the pick up. 124270 suits your wrist size very well.

Frankly having had it myself for the last few days and seeing picture of it side by side with a picture of 114270 I would think they are too close to one another to purchase it, but it seems like you are finding it more different. Would love to see pic of them side by side in your wrist.

That dial is utter perfection.

The 214270 never looked right to me. This has fantastic proportions and balance.
