First day impression, I would says it s more like 39mm Explorer slimming down to 36mm than 114270 and older.

The new one is more like Explorer 39mm shrunken to 36mm than being 36mm original Explorer. Just my initial feeling.

It's totally a new version with more modern look, all the upgrade specs are a plus. It has its own identity without trying to be vintage Explorer, also having in 36mm is perfect size for my wrist.

New bracelet is nice but you can't beat the old Oyster bracelet, light and soft like a silk.
