This is amazing. I have 2 stainless Daytona’s in my collection (116520 and 116500ln). I’ve been really considering adding an oysterflex. Can’t decide between the one you have and the WG model!

I have a white 116500 and if I had to sell one, think that would have to go. This is just beautiful and the oysterflex is really nice. Just enough weight with the gold but not top heavy. Really nice piece and the chocolate dial is beautiful. Go for it!

Its still new to me but I think Ill have a hard time throwing on my white 116500 over this. Its just in another league and the oysterflex is like butter.

Think the oysterflex is better than the bracelet for everyday wear. I’m just too conscious of the PCLs on my white dial. Plus the RG makes up for the less dressy oysterflex band.

Eager to hear your thoughts post 3 months of buying which one you prefer.

You’re right ! The strap that came in with the watch a bit bigger than my wrist , my ad place and order for a smaller one to swap it but meanwhile I have to wear this one .

Blue 116509 WG Daytona
My AD called and is able to get me a blue faced 116509. MSRP is 39,350.

However, the blue faced 116509 is selling here and on Chrono24 for less than retail. While I don't generally buy watches based on potential resale value, with such an expensive watch it would be good to know that it will hold its value somewhat.

What are your thoughts? Will a blue faced 116509 lose significant value over time? Could they become collectable? And why are the other 116509 with different dials so much less expensive on the grey market?

Do you think the AD will discount the watch? If so, by how much?
