I am very pleased to present my new addition. A lot of shopping around but got myself a full set Kermit to go with my GMT, held off on announcing until she’d been to RSC for a full check up.

Love both of these watches. Apologies for neck twisting images.

May i now join this club?

Thanks.

Here's one taken today: Kermit in disguise on a nato strap. It's not just the 16710 that can be altered.

Nice!
Do you still have the 116610LV (Hulk)? I know it has been beaten to death but how do you compare both? Looking at the pics I think your choice between the two is obvious.

I use the LVc sometimes, but I always come back to the 5-digit. Modern bracelet, scratch resistant ceramic insert, etc - all objectively better - but as long as I choose a watch by heart; 5- digit it is.

Future member of the LV club with a question about the bezel

Hello all! I am about to purchase an LV and couldn't be more excited about it. However, of the two I am looking at, one has a chipped bezel and the other does not. The chipped bezel aside, that watch is a much nicer looking watch and was overall cared for better.

How weary should I be of a chipped bezel? Should it significantly reduce the value of the watch?

Thanks for all of your help!

I don't quite understand what you mean by "chipped bezel" - you mean there is a nick on the bezel? or the insert? During RSC service, a replacement bezel will set you off about $350, the insert about $100.

My newly acquired 16610LV -

D-serial, Mk VIII reporting in! Love the watch, I am simply smitten by its presence, I am catching myself gazing at it and not really seeing the time.
