You want patina?...
We got patina on this Tudor...
Canadian members will probably recognize the name JM Schneider Meats, this was given as a presentation watch to a family member who had 25 years into the business in 1951. Makes it easy to date the watch through the dedication, though. The dial and hands have taken on a wonderful patina, and the red 24 hour indexes are a bonus. The inscription makes it easy to narrow down the approximate age of the watch, too. D.F. Schneider 25 Years Service J.M. Schneider Ltd. 1951 They're a division of Maple Leaf Foods now. The dial on this Tudor has the small rose and the shield, which dates it to 1936 = 1947.

That's a nice old Tudor around this time frame only available in commonwealth countries like Canada.

I love seeing personal engravings on vintage pieces. I know it generally lowers the value, but I think it makes such pieces more interesting.

Very nice. The rose-in-shield logo was only produced in 1946 and 47 as I recall.
