Russian Watches Picture Thread.

I'm probably not the only one here that loves Russian Watches, so if you also love them please share what you own here.

Do you buy them from a website, a store or Russia?

I buy when I visit. Been there many times since late nineties. Love it.

Only just seen the thread, maybe others are just too embarrassed to admit to owning such cheap watches.

You have a very nice collection there.

Thanks.

No shame in owning great watches, regardless of the price. I took my black Vostok to one of my watchmakers last month. Never had a service in fifteen years. He opened and inspected it and said to me I wont do anything here. This watch does not need any service. Not bad for a cheap watch.

Lots of Casio, G shock, Orient and Seiko wearers. I think that the Russian watches are out of the norm for North Americans.

I guess you're right buddy. Their watches are cheap for our standards, but incredible workhorses. Worth a try.

Fascinating, I'm just waiting for a Poljot Signal Alarm watch to arrive. Will be fun to wear and hear the "buzz".

Video of the alarm sounding at 1:24:

I own three or four Russian watches and they keep rather good timekeeping. I actually got them in a trade with several Russian athletes when I was a pro-cyclist in the 80’s and early 90’s. They were in love with Levi jeans and would trade almost any thing for them.

Vostok lover! Discovered the brand few years ago. Bought one and modified a bit.
Been snorkeling with it thousands of times.
Strong and precise.

Russian watch when in Russia.
Vostok Red Sea - it's been with me for more than 10years.

It was taken early this year while on biztrip to Moscow
