New member, just got first Submariner
Hi all. I've been following along here and thanks to a bunch of great advice on the forums here, just got my first Rolex. I'd been looking for a Batgirl GMT and stopped in at an AD in DC. Tried on a few models and chatted up the salesman. Kept in touch and when they had a sale, bought a couple jewelry pieces for my fiancé and a (much less expensive) watch for my stepfather's birthday. A couple days later, he emailed me to let me know he had a Submariner date come in and it was mine if I wanted it. Two days later, here we are. Looking forward to this being the first of many. I'm a commercial real estate broker in DC so if anyone needs CRE advice or restaurant recommendations, happy to help.
