Incoming - let's go exploring

Picked up today from my lovely AD.

2 tone explorer 1, fits my Slimer wrist perfectly and loving the understated gold.
It's actually really hard to capture the 2 tone real warmth on camera.
Interesting that the bracelet is a completely different fit from the OP, needed more Links / Micro adjustment for the same fit. Loving the tapered bracelet.
Not looking forward to micro scratches on the gold PCL tho

This is my 2nd AD acquired Rolex of 2022 (Yellow OP 36mm in March). Just be genuine and build a relationship with the AD. I'm a true WIS and have been since 2001-2003.

I also had a chance to see the Datejust Mint dial in the flesh on my visit, it's a beauty !!!
Think I'm going to hold off until 2023 and see if it becomes available in a 2 tone configuration tho (on Jubilee/fluted bezel)

Looks great

It’s the clasp length on the OP models that throws everything off by the way

Beautiful piece! Looks great on you and the size is perfect. Congrats!

A few weeks ago, I saw a mint dial in person for the first time. It's really growing on me to the point where I am now starting to want one. Such a beautiful dial!

Congrats looks awesome!! Did you happen to snap any pics of the mint dial DJ? Would love to see some in the metal photos if you did…if not I totally understand the excitement of getting your new piece!

I didn't get any photos yesterday in store. It was a 36mm, Fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet from out the back waiting for its new owner to pickup. I didn't even want to touch it, as its new owner should be the first to fondle :-)

To my eyes this photo (stolen from another thread on here) best captures the dial colour under the store lights.
A very nice green and the sun burst really pops under the bright lights.
Strangely the colour palette (to my eyes) was the exact same as a Salmon dial Rolex date 15200 from 2002, I used to own.

This looks really great. I'm not a fan of smaller watches - even as a guy with also not the biggest wrists - but I think the Exp I really makes it work on a lot, lot, lot of wrist shots. Enjoy it!
