Don’t think it’s as easy to get as you think. Not anymore.

Maybe it isn't...I don't know because I stopped playing AP games. If even a precious medal Chrono is now difficult to get, I just hope its temporary and due to them having to catch up in production. That's understandable for sure.

But, if this is where we are now, this is Tulip Mania and this is going to hurt like hell on the other side.

I dont know...it's a heavy bracelet, have to wonder how much the price hike is gonna be with gold on a tear....

That's in the back of my mind for sure, more seriously would be remembering how aggressively PP hiked their prices in the face of a falling dollar back in the 2010's.

Early on, I made the mistake of referring friends and colleagues to this boutique only to be treated poorly, disrespected, and ultimately turned off to AP (and watches in general) due to the attitude and corporate culture inculcated by the manager at this boutique.

I sincerely hope someone at AP reads this thread and takes action as this boutique is damaging the image and reputation of their brand.
It always cracks me up when SA of any luxury brand act that way. They're never themselves in any position to meet the demands and criteria they so arrogantly request...

Yes, two different stores. Westime is an AD that sells other brands as well. Bal Harbor is an AP boutique.

How did the transaction originally go? You ask for the AP, they say sure, then they told you to add another watch and you did (the Cartier)?

Amazing how they try to pull that off.

One day when the inescapable laws of economics catch up with Westime, the salespeople and owners will scurry like insects to other sales points. Best to clarify who you’re talking about specifically, so we can all avoid them in the future once they have changed their wrapper.

I will check out Bal Harbor. Westime is off my list; again my salesman Joseph was attentive. All things up until this last interaction was positive, but this was so overwhelming negative it couldn’t be overlooked. No way to run a business. I do not know the managers name; and the carrier of the news was always a 3rd party.

Westime down here is kinda meh. They’re a AD for a few dif brands including RM which puts me off personally. I only deal with Bal harbor as they are way more honest and upfront about things. I’m talking also from F2F as Idk how they deal with ppl calling all day

I know they ( Westime, Miami) is aware of this thread. Let's see how they react to being publicly named in treating an established customer like garbage. It will be very telling.

Two observations: 1. The title of the thread is misleading since it is not an AP boutique we are talking about. 2. Westime Miami's homepage doesn't mention they carry AP anymore? https://westime.com/locations/luxury-watch-store-miami

Wrong. Westime runs an AP boutique. Look it up on AP’s website.

A Westime apologist? Good for you. In addition to the above poster; if you’d take the time to check that included link throughly you’d notice they indeed list AP. Carry yourself away

And to think this was all in an attempt to have that chrono on my wrist for the big 4 0 in a couple weeks. Ah well, win some lose some. First world problems lol

Interesting development here:

All Westime AP boutiques / AD run boutiques will be run by corporate AP by next year

.
What's the deal with this? I see it listed for 19-20k euro on chrono24 from several dealers and when I look at ADs it's listed at 29.500 euro.

AP is probably getting all sorts of bad publicity because of idiotic storefront managers creating a negative experience for customers. This is a luxury brand that has customer facing rep talking with toothpicks hanging from their mouths while picking their nose essentially. If this is true, great move by AP. And BTW I'm sure Westime is shuffling blame around from my original experience, when management was the clear perpetrator here.
