Incoming weekly calendar (on blue strap)

Never expected to receive 2 steel calatravas in 2 weeks. After the 6007a, here the 5212a. The brown calf strap isn’t for me so changed it to a blue nubuk strap. Looks much better imo.

Too early to say which of the 2 I will wear more often. But after years of mainly wearing 5711, 5712, 5740, 5065, 5167, 5168, seems like I will be wearing calatravas a lot more often in the future.

Yes indeed. The 5172 blue strap fits perfectly and suits the look of the 5212.

The Geneva Salon sold me the blue strap + deployant with no questions asked - they didn't care if I had the 5212 or not. I bought it before my 5212 arrived (in Hong Kong).

I personally don't like brown, so I did the same to my 5524G too (dark blue strap from Geneva Salon as well as my AD in HK could not source it for me).

Lovely piece. IMO one of the standouts of the current collection.

Enjoy it in good health.

Great on blue strap, although I still think the dial is too busy.
